My role as an Associate to Justice Keane involved research, editing and proofreading. I assisted his Honour in Court and contributed to the administration and management of his Honour's chambers.

My primary responsibilities included drafting court documents, preparing briefs to counsel and instructing in court, providing research memoranda and advice to clients. Key achievements - Acted in high-profile commercial litigation at the trial in the Supreme Court of Victoria to the appeal in the Court of Appeal and subsequent special leave application to the High Court of Australia. - Advised organisations in the indigenous, religious and environment not-for-profit sectors. - Taught the administrative law component of law graduates' practical legal training. - Facilitated a legal writing group for young lawyers to improve their communication skills.
