Op zoek naar een nieuwe uitdaging. [edit: uitdaging gevonden bij IntuEdrive, maker van Ellio speedbike] Na jarenlang kennis te hebben opgedaan als consultant bij vele grote bedrijven, wil ik deze kennis en skills investeren in een vast bedrijf gelegen in de buurt van Leuven. Ik zoek een bedrijf waar ik met mijn leidinggevende / coachende / organisatorische skills een meerwaarde kan betekenen. Deze skills heb ik niet alleen opgebouwd tijdens mijn werkervaring, maar ook tijdens de 10 jaar dat ik al deel uitmaak van het bestuur van onze badmintonclub De Dijlevallei (+250 leden). Waaronder enkele jaren als voorzitter van de club. Ook ben ik sterk geïnteresseerd in allerhande sporten, mobiliteit en duurzame oplossingen. Bij Absolem heb ik er onder meer voor gezorgd dat er nu een fietsvergoeding wordt gegeven, je fietsen kan leasen en ze elk jaar meedoen aan de Spartacus run: "The Strongest Company". Absolem reference: Tom is a motivated project engineer who gets energy from technical challenges. He is driven by technology and has the urge to improve continuously. Tom has the ambition to become an experienced project manager, without losing touch with the technical aspects of the projects. Tom is a real team player, but does not walk away from critical questions. In his free time, Tom enjoys playing badminton at the highest level, but he can also lose his energy in many other sports.
Bij IntuEdrive, een jonge start-up, ben ik de verantwoordelijke voor productie van de "Ellio": de baanbrekende, innovatieve, hoogtechnologische speedbike met 2-wielaandrijving! De beste en meest duurzame keuze voor de pendelaars of zelfs de vervanger van een (extra) auto.
As a consultant I worked in several bog companies such as: Atlas Copco, Intrion, AB InBev, 3D Systems and Pfizer. During these projects I could experience different functions in the project teams.
@Atlas Copco Portable Air Responsible for quality throughout the whole shop (7 production lines). With the help of a team of internal auditors to detect errors early and based on customer complaints, I was able to analyse the errors and devise action plans to prevent these errors. A major task was also to roll out MOMs: a new computer-controlled system with digital instructions, where you could follow the progress of the line from the desk and you could track errors back to the mechanic at the workstation so that he could follow the necessary training.
Atlas Copco Portable Air With experience gained as a method engineer in the past, reinforce a flow team that had an open vacancy for a long time. As a method engineer you are responsible for the smooth flow of your assembly and test lines. Tasks here vary from drawing up assembly instructions, balancing per workstation, introduction of new options to implementation of new smart tooling systems. Communication with engineering, sales, team leader and operators is necessary to reach these goals.
I was resonsible to check the piping installation by following the P&ID's at the new site of Glaxosmithkline in Waver.
