About

I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I will study photocatalytic materials and mechanisms using DFT and beyond-DFT (eg RPA) quantum chemical methods under the supervision of AJ Medford. I am interested in an independent academic career across the spectrum of research institutes (PhD-granting R1, PUI and national laboratory). I completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2025 under the supervision of Adam Holewinski and Charles Musgrave. My work consisted of integrating experimental and computational techniques for diagnosing electrochemical catalytic mechanisms. I graduated Trinity University in May 2017 Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Chemistry. I conducted undergraduate and post-baccalaureate research with Bert Chandler as a research laboratory manager, where I lead the research group during his sabbatical in 2019-2020. My research was investigating small molecule (CO, H2) oxidation mechanisms and thermodynamics over oxide-supported metal nanoparticles.
