2015-2022 Patrol Investigations Detective Conducted investigations related to crimes throughout Clark County. Assigned to all cases including attempt murder, robbery, burglary, Domestic Battery, and any other cases occurring in the assigned area. Managed a case load in order to collect all evidence and locate suspects for arrest. Authored many search warrants for various crimes.Maintained contact with the District Attorney’s office to ensure proper prosecution of aforementioned cases. 2013-2015 Problem Solving Unit- PSU Conducted undercover investigations for various crime trends in Clark County. Assisted FBI task force in high level cases. Conducted surveillance and managed numerous sources of information. Conducted controlled narcotics buys and finalized investigations of narcotics dealers, gang members, and other criminal organizations. Provided plain clothes support to numerous Outlaw Motorcycle Gang rallies in Las Vegas and Laughlin, NV. 2010-2013 Northwest Area Command Patrol/Property Crimes Conducted routine patrol operations and responded to calls for service. TDY to Property Crimes- Conducted all related follow-up for burglaries, thefts, and related property crimes. Located stolen property and identified suspects related. Executed numerous search warrants and arrest warrants. Became proficient in pawn store investigations and tracking of stolen property with identifiable characteristics and serial numbers. 2009-2010 Gang Crimes Bureau- Detective Street level enforcement throughout LVMPD jurisdiction. Conducted investigations for gang related shootings, robberies, and crimes to promote criminal street gangs. Became proficient in search warrant preparation and other investigative methods. Managed informants and conducted surveillance/covert buy operations with a team of 6-8 Detectives. Managed the Las Vegas Monorail token account by processing all coin hoppers and creating detailed spreadsheets for accounting. Ensured all funds were deposited into proper accounts. United States Navy- VFA97 NAS 1999-2003 Lemoore, U.S.S. Carl Vinson, U.S.S. Nimitz AM2(AW)- Aviation Mechanic Second Class (Air Warfare Specialist) Troubleshooter Branch (AM2)- Flight deck technical adviser to pre-launch pilots. Performed emergency repairs and diagnosed technical issues to assist with mission objectives on FA18 sorties. Obtained turn qualification start engines on the FA-18 and diagnose issues prior to flight. Aviation Mechanic/Airframes Division- Answered maintenance requests by completing mechanical repairs on FA-18's. Supervised 18 mechanics to carry out repairs and tasks for the squadron in a time-sensitive environment. Qualified to start the jets and diagnose problems to ensure flight safety. Plane Captain- Maintained structural and electrical integrity of a squadron of 16 FA-18 Hornet jets. Daily maintenance and inspection procedures. Ordered parts and various repair procedures as needed to ensure operational planes were available. Trained new sailors to as plane captains as a quality assurance inspector.
