Purple Line Metro: Assigned to the multibillion-dollar P3 Design-Build Purple Line Light Rail project, a 16.2-mile, 21-station line connecting two counties and integrating with Metrorail, AMTRAK, and local bus services. The contract scope includes six complex stations, fifteen simple stations, and the Lyttonsville Operations & Maintenance Facility. Responsible for coordinating and transporting trucks and equipment to various project sites; front-line field operations management support; layout excavation/forms/concrete as-builts, project procurement; as well as safety and quality control responsibilities. Completed Specialized Defensive Driver Training. Navy Federal Credit Union: Previously assigned to the $150 million Navy Federal Credit Union Headquarters Modernization project, the interior renovation of the six-level occupied, 850,000 square-foot headquarters included private offices, conference rooms, open office space, elevator lobbies, atrium, and cafeteria. Renovation of updated building systems throughout the facility including mechanical, electrical, fire protection and low voltage. Proactively made decisions in front-line management. Responsible for layout of the project, supervision of trade partners and craft, as well as analyzed drawings, implemented safety, and quality control responsibilities. Previous Experience as Operations Intern: Gained an understanding of the design and construction process through assistance to the Field Engineers, Office Engineers, and Quality Control Engineers with hands-on field and materials management.
Guide and assist guests on navigating through white-water rafting and kayaking trips. Teach and develop a wide variety of both advanced and beginner ski and snowboard skills. Making appropriate decisions concerning the safety of the guests and fellow employees.
Received training and exposure to Federal Government Contracting in career development program with executive level led traditional instruction, interactive training and professional mentorship.
