      2020-2024 our team were working with Sony Corporate Technology Strategy Division organization in Tokyo. Research focusing on 5G technologies in relation to Sony technologies within Gaming and Streaming. 2023-2025 our team were working with New Business Technology Division in Tokyo. Research focusing on Private & Public 5G networks in the Professional Camera broadcasting and AI area. Proof of concept activities also performed towards broadcasting companies within Europe. 2025-2026 our team are working with Sony Technology Division Laboratory organization headed up from Tokyo. Research focusing on Wireless technologies in relation to Sony technologies within Camera, Streaming and AI. Project Management of a small team of very senior Radio Access Verification engineers. Specialized in 5G & wireless technologies and working towards Research & Development lead departments in Tokyo. Typically, our team provides wireless technology expertise towards a larger scale technology research project in Tokyo that involves several disciplines. Agile methodology is used to iterate development scope and priority based on our team’s monthly status presentations & inspections by Tokyo R&D management. In some of the projects we have also been working with Proof of Concept towards external potential customers. Planning, both joint planning with Tokyo peer project, and planning for our Lund team project. Scope setting and resource management. Follow up and plan our reporting of research outcome & conclusions to the peer Tokyo lead research project. Planning for establishment and maintenance of lab & research evaluation environment. Additionally, the role involves regularly promoting our engineering team’s technical expertise and research capabilities, including our lab facilities, to various technical organizations across Sony worldwide.

      Project Management of a team of very senior Radio Access Verification engineers. Plan, drive & report the RAT verification, fully covering Euro and parts of Asia/LAM for several generations of mobile phone products. Functionalities in new features rollout, such as 5G with sub-functionalities and legacy functionalities within 2G/3G/LTE and IMS. Interfacing Tokyo RAT and in Lund interacting with Operator & Market Verification, Customer Project Managers, Technical Account Managers and Operator Requirements team. Modem & Telephony teams and Network configuration teams were also key teams in collaboration. 2017-2020 Project Leader for models Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ3, Xperia 1, Xperia 5, Xperia 1 II and Xperia 5 II in Radio Access Team.

      Plan, drive & report the verification in the CFT team for Xperia X & Xperia X Performance products. Together with the CFT PM set up a structure of activities, aimed to strengthen the sales of the products in the European markets. Scope based on lessons learned for Euro from previous project, together with many activities supporting the operator and market accounts. After launch we also involved in customer & end user issues/feedback. In many cases we also acted as information and knowledge bridge towards the software main site in Tokyo for these projects. Beta software releases to external early adopter groups were also tested/released/evaluated within the CFT.

Function design and implementation of various blocks and functions. Real-time programming was mainly done in SDL language & Plex-C. • Testing of real-time software. Testing was done mainly with scripts in SDL Simulator, but also with testing in BTI driver. • Trouble report handling from customers and from testers. Correction handling towards maintenance. Fault tracing in the software code. Core team member of Block Group Channel. In the core team we were responsible for the work done in Block Group Channel. Implementations of new features, such as EDGE, GSM-UMTS handover were performed. In addition, investigations, reports, technical strategy and planning were made in the core team.
