I am involved in research on changes of the neurotransmitters dopamine and glutamate (via PET/MRS) in patients with schizophrenia/depression/PTSD/addiction/stress and in healthy participants in age groups from 16 to 80 years. Especially the effects and associations of neurobiological factors with psychological well-being are an important topic of modern neuroscientific research and are of great interest to me, as they form the basis of understanding the functions of the brain and consciousness. I additionally conducted a large amount of research in terms of the psychological effects of video-games on the brain and mind, mindfulness, and education-related neuroscience in adolescence. In general, I am very open to new experiences and always willing to learn new research and therapy methods.
The title of my doctoral thesis was:: "The Significance of Dopamine and Glutamate for Neuronal Reward Processing over the Lifespan" Reference: https://refubium.fu-berlin.de/handle/fub188/11536?show=full&locale-attribute=de Grade: "Summa Cum Laude"
