Doctor of engineering with experience in developing state-of-the-art signal processing solutions in the domain of digital holography (especially: compression, objective evaluation, generation, and display). (Co-) author of more than 20 peer reviewed scientific publications. More than 4 years of teaching experience in Java programming, Quantum physics, and Numerics. Proficient in Matlab, C/C++, Cuda, Java, Mathematica, MATLAB, Python and Bash programming, Latex, as well as Git versioning. Intermediate knowledge in: OptiX, OpenGL, CMake Basic knowledge in SQL, Julia, R. My current expertise is focused on: - Phase space analysis - Digital holography - Programming - IT and network administration As I come from a varied background (including microbiology, chemistry, physics with a focus on theoretical chemistry/quantum mechanics; and applied mathematics with a focus on compressed sensing and Fourier analysis), I see especially the value and necessity in interdisciplinary research. Past interests included (with decreasing importance): - Molecular Dynamic simulations using Ab-initio density functional theory - High performance computing - Anorganic/Organic/Analytic chemistry & Toxicology - Solid state physics - Android/IOS mobile application development
