I am an epidemiologist, evaluation leader and health equity strategist dedicated to transforming complex data into care pathways that improve outcomes for survivors of trauma and historically marginalized communities. My work sits at the intersection of public health, health systems innovation and community-centered design. I specialize in building models that strengthen care coordination, illuminate structural barriers, and translate trauma-informed practice into measurable improvements in patient care. Across UChicago Medicine's Urban Health Initiative, I have led evaluation and analytical projects across the Liasons in Care (LinC) CHW program and the Violence Recovery Program (VRP). My work includes designing new documentation systems, developing cross-departmental data workflows, mapping complications and care breakdowns and co-creating care pathways improvements with clinical and community partners. This includes the VRP Medical Complications & Care Pathway Study: a-first-of-its-kind project identifying preventable harms and strengthening transitions of care for violently injured patients. Previously, at the National Cancer Institute, I conducted research on aging, cancer and HIV, contributing insights that support better clinical strategies for older adults living with multimorbidity. I am deeply committed to systems-level change grounded in community partnership, trauma-informed practice, and rigorous, transparent evaluation. I believe that data is most powerful when it amplifies the lived experiences of those most affected and drives institutional accountability. Whether through research, evaluation, mentorship, or storytelling, my work aims to build healthier, more equitable systems; and to ensure every patient's path to recovery is supported with dignity, clarity and care. Always open to collaboration and conversation.
