I am a Pharmaceutical Engineering undergraduate at SIT with interests in biotechnology, bioprocessing, and biologics manufacturing. Gained exposure to mammalian cell culture, aseptic techniques, bioreactor operations, and process monitoring relevant to biopharmaceutical environments through academic coursework and hands-on laboratory training in the Cell Culture Laboratory elective. I am particularly interested in upstream bioprocessing, cell-based manufacturing, and the scale-up of laboratory processes to industrial production. I enjoy data analysis, structured problem-solving, and technical workflows that require precision, consistency, and adherence to quality standards. Eager to further develop hands-on laboratory and analytical skills through internship opportunities in the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industry.
- Supported clients' dietary needs through meal service and supervision. - Assisted clients with daily activities, including toileting support when needed. - Portered clients safely between drop-off points, the centre, and rehabilitation sessions.
-10 week attachment @ Ward 8 (Geriatric) - Establish a therapeutic relationship with patient and family. - Identify measures to prevent medication errors & near misses. - Performing assessment: fall prevention, pressure ulcer, pain score. - Participated in Inpatient Services (Geriatric Care), Day Rehabilitation Services. - Care of patient with tracheostomy/removal of peripheral IV devices/perform wound dressing. - Initiate appropriate actions to be taken for variations via vital signs/12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG).
- 2 week attachment @ Ward 54B - Perform basic mental status assessment. - Plan/conduct structured activities for the patient. - Assist in the management of inpatient psychiatry crisis.
- 2 week attachment @ Ward 55 (Pediatric) - Assess & perform measures to reduce fall risk in a pediatric setting. - Perform basic pediatric assessment/assist in clinical procedure.
- 3 week attachment @ Ward 76 (Surgical Orthopedics) - Provided pre- and post-operative care for THR and TKR patients. - Assisted with medication administration under supervision (pharmacological knowledge).
