• Acted as the go-to knowledge team expert on climate science and policy, resident expert on NDCs and core member of BCG Center for Climate & Sustainability Policy & Regulation. Played a client facing expert key role in advising a Middle Eastern country on its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and Long Term Strategy (LTS). Developed net zero roadmaps and strategies for private sector clients, and assisted a Southeast Asian government in crafting National Adaptation Plan • Spearheaded the creation and deployment of knowledge assets such as corporate climate action benchmarking tool, North American Climate Trends, NDC/LTS benchmarking tool, and climate governance benchmarking tool, and Article 6 primer. Mentored and collaborated closely with researchers to ensure the delivery of high quality, rapid research on a daily basis • Led and supported analysis for highly visible publications, examples include: 1) NDCs and Renewable Energy targets in 2021 with IRENA and 2) the state of climate action post COP26 (with World Economic Forum), 3) COP27 BCG Executive Perspective • Created rapid briefing materials and BCG views for Leadership and clients on latest climate developments, such as key reports ahead of COP26 &27 & IPCC AR6 briefing. Presented IPCC briefing to case teams, senior leadership, conducted internal learning webcast to educate BCG audiences
• Conducted rapid response indicator analysis for updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) ahead of COP26 on WRI Climate Watch; led NDC-SDG Linkages analysis and projected target emissions quantification modeling using Excel. Co-authored a technical note to quantify 2030 emissions reductions from enhanced NDCs • Managed and conducted quality checks for Greenhouse Gas emissions inventories, climate resilience and socioeconomic indicator datasets to communicate key climate data and visualizations to an average of 20,000 monthly website visitors • Served as expert to speak to journalists and academic institutions about latest climate insights (quoted by Reuters and Business Insider and spoke at Duke Law School); published widely read WRI Insights blogs • Collaborated with a team to prepare ready-to-present research output in various formats (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint) for Leadership and Climate Program and lead production of monthly Climate Watch newsletter for 5000+ readers • Presented Climate Watch program to external stakeholders and serve as an expert to answer questions on climate data. • Acquired, cleaned, and processed geospatial datasets using GIS, Carto, Google Earth Engine, Python, and Excel • Enhanced API query python module, identified and addressed data prioritization needs, evaluated potential datasets • Translated scientific technical notes into common language metadata for datasets and provided technical edits for team’s work • Created visualizations of geospatial datasets on the Resource Watch Platform
