I am a Transport Planner and Urban Mobility Consultant specialising in active travel and sustainable street design, with nearly 10 years of experience working on complex urban projects across Europe and, more recently, in the UK context. My core expertise lies in the planning, design, and delivery of high-quality cycling and walking infrastructure, informed by UK guidance (including LTN 1/20 and Healthy Streets principles) as well as international best practice from Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark. I have worked on large-scale strategic cycling programmes, including Berlin’s cycle superhighways, translating proven design approaches into different regulatory and urban contexts. I have experience acting as task lead and deputy project manager, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting projects from early feasibility and concept design through to delivery. My work regularly involves stakeholder engagement, public consultation, and client-facing coordination, particularly within politically and technically complex environments. In addition to infrastructure design, I have contributed to transport and mobility assessments, feasibility studies, and traffic management considerations, including junction layouts and signal control interfaces. I regularly support evidence-based decision-making through the use and interpretation of project-relevant transport data and technical analysis. At Ramboll, I specialise in active mobility and sustainable transport planning, with a strong focus on cycling infrastructure, feasibility studies, and concept design. I have contributed to the planning and delivery of high-profile projects such as Berlin’s cycle superhighways and protected intersections in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, as well as intercity routes like the Erlangen–Herzogenaurach and Rostock–Warnemünde corridors. My role includes: Designing active travel infrastructure. Leading feasibility studies for multimodal corridors and urban nodes. Developing mobility concepts for public spaces and redevelopment areas. At LK Argus, I worked on a variety of urban mobility projects, specialising in the planning and implementation of cycling infrastructure in dense urban contexts. My work ranged from traffic assessments to feasibility studies and the development of design concepts for public authorities. I was also involved in school route safety analyses, protected bike lane design, and advisory services for private developments with a low-car approach. A strong focus was placed on coordination with other disciplines and public stakeholders.
