I am an experienced and values-driven authentic leader, with over 35 years of experience across the public, third, and health sectors within the Bradford district. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to improving the quality of services and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. For over seven and a half years, I had the privilege of serving as a Chief Executive in the charity sector — a role that deepened my passion for people, purpose, and partnership. I am recognised for my authentic, collaborative, and compassionate leadership style, my ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally, and a proven track record of delivering positive and lasting impact. Growing up on a council estate shaped my belief in fairness, equity, equality, opportunity, and the power of community — values that continue to drive everything I do. I have successfully led and managed high-profile projects and programmes across the health system, local authority, and third sector, and I have extensive experience in organisational development and change — including successfully leading a charity merger, to strengthen impact and sustainability. Alongside my professional roles, volunteering is important to me and I am proud to serve as chair of a school governing body and chair of another local charity — roles that allow me to continue championing community leadership, inclusion, and opportunity. I remain deeply motivated by a lifelong commitment to making a difference and to creating environments where people and communities can flourish. I am now focusing on system leadership, consultancy, mentoring, and coaching — supporting leaders and organisations to grow, collaborate, and achieve meaningful, sustainable change through authentic leadership.
