Responsible for: • Management of logistics operations, ensuring service levels and costs in line with business targets. • Alignment of activities across the broader MW Supply Chain to drive operational efficiencies and optimisation. • Working closely with 3PL providers to build strong relationships and management of service levels and cost. • Develop and maintain warehouse cost models to ensure warehouse operations are cost effective, consistent and controlled. • Participate in negotiations regarding contracting of logistic functions. • Ensure 3PL service providers operate with the Mars specifications to minimise risk and ensure compliance in accordance to Mars & industry standards. • Manage logistics activities to deliver agreed financial targets. Contribute to the development of the Logistics financial plan, analyse financial trends, develop estimates for cost pressures/savings, review model integrity to ensure forecast numbers reflect current operations. • A key member of the broader logistics community across all Australian business segments to proactively review and identify logistics synergies to leverage scale and drive total logistics benefits to Mars Inc.
Responsible for: - Managing the 3PL relationship to ensure a high level of performance and continuous improvement. - Auditing performance and quality to ensure they are kept to 7 Eleven standards. - Developing budget estimates and forecasts for future logistics requirements. - Liaise with Suppliers to:- - Plan business responses to demand changes. - Analyse and plan distribution activities during seasonal and promotional periods - Resolve on-going performance issues - Evolving and maintaining documentation and SOP’s for logistics processes and systems

Responsible for the implementation of Contract Logistics Customer Transition & Integration projects throughout Australia. Responsibilities: • National control, overview and reporting of all CTI activity within KN Contract Logistics • Prioritization of national projects and requisition & allocation of project resources • Recruitment and training of CTI project managers and team members • Reporting of national CTI activities to the Regional CTI Manager • Management of all project relevant elements i.e. staffing, information flows, equipment. • Development and management of project plans • Support the handover of operational processes post implementation • Ensure transferability of knowledge to other implementations • Ongoing continuous development of the CTI program
