The Water Analysis Instruments division of Thermo Scientific acquired AquaSensors, LLC in August 2008. Those products became part of the Process Instruments group and address process, water and wastewater markets.
Led the sales and marketing effort for a new liquid analytical instrumentation technology serving both industrial and municipal water quality and process monitoring applications. Developed global sales channels and oversaw technical support for this product line. AquaSensors™ designs and manufactures innovative analytical measurement systems for process control applications. Unique product design reduces equipment and installation costs while improving reliability in a wide variety of applications. Measurements included pH, ORP, conductivity, resistivity, dissolved oxygen, dissolved ozone, drinking water turbidity, raw water turbidity, suspended solids and free chlorine. The patented DataStick™ measurement system features pre-calibrated plug-in sensor heads that provide 24-bit data and can be calibrated, configured or diagnosed directly from a PLC or computer system. No intermediate analyzer boxes are necessary.
