About

I am the Global Head of 3D Materials for HP’s 3D Printing & Digital Manufacturing business, responsible for leading HP’s 3D materials development globally. I am focused on driving materials innovations that unlock new applications and help transform the manufacturing industry. Prior to this role, I led HP’s metals 3D printing commercial business and technology, where I brought to market HP’s Metal Jet 3D printing system – representing the first 3D metals technology for industrial-scale production. I have been spearheading innovation at HP for more than 25 years. As one of HP’s early ink jet pioneers, I was part of the team responsible for product quality for the first thermal ink jet printers. I also lead the development of the scalable print solution that ultimately became HP’s innovative PageWide technology, which is now used everywhere from the desktop to the factory floor. I have numerous R&D innovations such as printing technology platforms, MEMS-based technologies (such as HP's state-of-the-art accelerometer), applied molecular systems (nanotechnology), solar applications, printed electronics, and 3D thermoplastics and metals. I hold 53 U.S.-issued patents.
