30+ year career as a security professional both in government service and in industry. I've done everything from clone phones to penetration testing to strategy. Love what I do and wouldn't have it any other way. Enjoying transforming security programs, building world class teams and reducing risk to enable business opportunities. If you aren't in security, I will find a way to infect you with the idea that you wish you were. Currently, the lead security executive at Merck driving a comprehensive security program to meet and exceed customer needs. Outside of work I'm a family man married to his high school sweetheart. I have two great kids involved in sports and academics. I've been a baseball coach and also a "Dance Dad" for years. I love every minute of it. My wife is my rock. We walk and talk together almost everyday (2000 miles of walking last year). I'm inspired by people who love what they do and work hard to be the best at it. I've been fortunate to have great mentors in my career and i'm committed to doing the same for others. I will never stop learning from anyone (young or old).
