Here at 4Wall Entertainment - Nashville my crew and I are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of moving light inventory. When inventory is returned from an event, my crew and I will prioritize fixtures based on the next potential rental date, and hang them on one of our four trusses for cleaning and testing. Each and every fixtures that is received goes through our QC process. In addition to the teching of the moving lights, our department lends its hands to other departments as needed in ensuring the shop moves efficiently. An additional responsibility of mine is being a part of the after hours service rotation. At all times after hours, someone is on call to take care of any potential issue that may arise. I also will make deliveries in one of our two box trucks, if needed.
Kurios - July 2017 - January 2018 - LX Responsibilities include setup and teardown of big top show a few times a year, troubleshooting lighting equipment for various aspects of the show including wireless DMX. Daily work includes maintenance on equipment and running show tracks for lighting and rigging.
