I had the honor of leading 70 inspectors ensuring combat readiness for aircraft, intelligence, technology support & cybersecurity for organizations across the United States. It included planning, leading and conducting quality assurance inspections to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance across 24 major flying, intel and cyber organizations. I was proud to serve as a key advisor to our command on Agile Combat Employment, Lead Wing and Air Base Squadron concept design and employment in support of US national security efforts.
As the CIO, I served as the command's senior executive providing information technology support, innovation and cybersecurity protection to military special operations forces conducting missions across Europe. I managed a $13M budget portfolio in support of cyber operations and information technology modernization to support business operations with over 40 European partners.
As a Group Commander, I was proud to serve as a senior executive leading a diverse group of personnel supporting US space operations in the key mission areas of Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Contracting, Human Resources, Logistics, and Fire/Police services, with an operating budget of over $300M. I enjoyed hosting executive-level forums with civic organizations and city officials to develop an effective community and business relations program between our installation and the Colorado Springs communities.
