I am a full time certified Police Officer employed by the City of Portsmouth, NH Police Department and have been so employed with said agency since January of 1996, having graduated from the 111th New Hampshire State Police Academy in March of 1997. Prior to the Portsmouth Police Department, I have prior law enforcement training and experience with the York, Maine Police Department, where I was a part time police officer from June of 1993 until January of 1997. In addition to the basic training received at the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Academy, I have attended and successfully completed additional classes in the areas of robbery, sexual assaults, homicide, crime scene, fraud, and burglary investigations, as well as advanced training in the fields of accident reconstruction, computer forensics and school based policing. As a police officer I have been involved in the investigation of numerous crimes against both persons and property, including but not limited to, vehicular crimes, physical assaults, robberies, burglaries, drug crimes, the theft of personal property, fatal accident investigations and reconstructions, death scene investigations, as well as child physical and sexual abuse crimes. I am a 1994 graduate of Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. In my current assignment I am the Juvenile Investigator for the Portsmouth Police Department
