I am a versatile and adaptable professional who is experienced in many facets of business and passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). I successfully partnered with a large cross functional team to help build a DEI program that supports and promotes a culture of belonging, inclusivity, and respect at JOANN Stores, a leading retailer of fabric and crafts. Through meaningful and impactful contributions as a member of the DEI team, I played an integral part in JOANN receiving several awards. After conducting extensive research and surveys, Newsweek and Plant-A Insights recognized JOANN as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, 2023; one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women, 2023; one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for LGBTQ+, 2023; and one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Job Starters, 2023. In addition to my DEI competencies, I have leveraged skills in relationship building, communication, corporate event planning, accounting, employee training, treasury operations, critical thinking, social media administration, team work, sales, leadership, and marketing throughout my career.
