The aim of this thesis is the comparison of 3 wind turbine noise measurement techniques included IEC 61400-11. We have put the microphones at 3 different heights (on the ground, at 1.5m and 4m) in well defined positions in 2 wind turbines parcs. We have quantified the differences of sound pressure level between the different methods. Based on the linear model, we have then tried to draw conditions for which some measurements are correlated in ordrer to predict a sound pressure lever at a random height. Equivalent sound levels on 5 sec and 1 min have been used. The spectra 25Hz and 20 kHz and the low frequencies spectra have been investigated. We have found that the analyses ont the equivalent sound levels on 1 minute have been more effective. It turns out that the measurement on the ground is relatively marginalized in comparison with the other 2 which are strongly influenced by environnemental factors. Therefore, no overall trend has been drawn, the wind speed influencing greatly the recorded values. THESIS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
