I am a highly experienced mechanical engineer and seasoned maintenance professional with over 25 years in the industry, working across various sectors including pulp mills, stainless steel plants, and mining. I have a proven track record of leading teams to achieve outstanding results, such as achieving 97% plant availability and reducing breakdown work to less than 5%. Throughout my career, I have built maintenance departments and functions from scratch for three green field operations, significantly increasing plant availability from the low 40% to high 90%’s. I have hold various roles, including Maintenance Manager at Skaland Graphite, Maintenance Manager at Minera Panama, and at FQM Kevitsa Mining Oy. My achievements include developing maintenance practices, managing the installation of new equipment, and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies. I have also been involved in significant projects such as leading Kevitsa’s first production expansion and leading several sub projects for Talvivaara Sotkamo.
