About

My professional experience had a foundation in the domain of the face to face, direct sales world. For 24+ years, I've built b2b/b2c f2f sales teams, from London/NY/LA and Syd, for Fortune 50 companies - including Verizon, AT&T, Shell, BT, MBNA Europe and Woolworths/Macquarie, Vodafone and Telstra Australia. I've a product background. (Researching what consumers want, finding the right manufacturer/supplier, importing and then selling vast quantities of that product - globally). I’ve experience in setting up and financing businesses from scratch, the on-going support of those businesses, and the people I trained to run them. The current count is 1200 separate corporations globally, with 74% of them trading profitably, past the 5 years in business mark. I’ve travelled the world for decades, studying the leaders in my original industry up close, to learn from their experiences, adapting my thesis, to their best practices (UK/Ire, US/Can, Australasia, South Africa, Germany, Poland, Spain/Italy/Portugal, India, Scandinavia, Israel, Japan and the UAE). I have a personal passion in investing, being there personally from day 1. Creating action from nothing, navigating it through “the valley of death” to sustainable growth. These days, I sit back, and watch the next generation make their waves. Talking, only when asked. I generally focus on founders/industries, I believe are going to benefit from a combination of a mega trend, the right team running them, + my network/experience/strategy insights/support. JAR Aerospace/JAR Education - (currently a leader in STEM education and advanced manufacturing composites). Created 3 year training IP for RAAF, for all of Australia's Air Force cadets, to learn how to design/build/code and fly UAV's. Liber Pharma - Australia’s, indeed the world's - first and only legal - nicotine containing electronic cigarette, available via pharmacies. This is a world leader, and will be a big player over the next 5 years. Executiveassistant.com - “Executive Assistant Network,” the place to learn how to become a top 1% executive assistant. 12,000 members in Australia, 15 year trading history, currently working on global expansion of EAN. May 2024 - Present · 2 yrs 2 mos

Starting out as Ai Caretech UAE Seenyor USA/Aus and the global Seenyor holding co, in Ireland This team of 3 amazing founders, I’ve flown the world for, for 18 months. The govts of the world, have finally caught on to what they saw, 4/5 years ago. They don’t have enough in home care, for the worlds boomers. Building from the chip set, creating the entire ecosystem, in house. This veteran, international team, (who’ve already built, marketed and sold over 22 different products - over their 12 year journey together). Building and selling multiple companies along the way. Surviving in competition against the google’s/apple’s and Samsungs of the world, in the IOT revolution - still to fully show its full promise at scale). Ryan/Jum/Petar are a team I believe in, and so does everyone who experiences for themselves, the platform - easing minds, changing lives and keeping families together, all over the world.

  • Head Thinker at LMS Thinking Australia Pty Ltd
    2007 - Present · 19 yrs 6 mos

My primary trading entity globally. London/NY/LA/Syd/Dubai LMS Thinking is the strategic thinking engine, that drives forward the planning, creates the "systems and processes IP", and provides the insights - for our clients - and partners globally. We have a physical office head office in Surry Hills, Sydney. We have no employee's, only partners. Our "network of companies" currently spans 5 continents, and after 24 years of myself - and my key people - personally recruiting, training and developing 20/30 something "founders" (as recently as Q4 2025 in Melbourne myself) - in their first sales/recruitment and "development of teams" roles. The Alumni of this business, are some very happy, healthy and wealthy (and therefore influential) people, who are doing great work - and creating 1000's of new jobs out of thin air - every year, wherever they go. This year, will be the first year, LMS Thinking's projects take us to Latin America and India, in a big way. After my 15 month Sabbatical, travelling the world, taking some long overdue time for myself and my family. It was in South America, that I personally saw rapid governmental and societal change - and therefore - opportunity. This is why we're focused in Syd/NY/Mumbai - on delivering for the developing world over the next 5 years, IP that was originally developed in - and for - the English speaking world If you have a product or service that you want to take to Latin America, or India/Africa, please do let us know. We have the distribution networks, we have have a proven model, we have govt/corporate partners. We know how to find, develop and nurture, the entrepreneurs. The developing world - has everything else you need. Humans, with a burning desire to get ahead. Govts, very keen for them to work in the private sector For themselves, their families, their communities, and their countries. The number one resource, that any country has, is their people. Once you understand that, doors open

I'm not at liberty to discuss. But watch this space.

  • Investor at Executive Assistant Network
    Mar 2020 - Present · 6 yrs 4 mos

This is one of my favourite businesses to be involved in. Founded by my cousin Natasha Cannon nearly two decades ago now, this is the largest network of Executive Assistants globally. EAN offers a community of like minded professional EA's - and professional development opportunities - to the most critical person, on any CEO's payroll, their EA. Natasha's passion for her business, through adversity that would have crushed 99% of founder/CEO's, coupled with the network she has developed in the world's top 20 business hubs (from her base in Sydney) Make this business - not only fun to work on - but an amazing tool for me to hear directly from the EA's of the worlds biggest, and fastest moving companies - what the "word on the street is" - about anything. An invaluable - real time - humint resource, for an investor like myself.

Watch out for Jack Cullen taking back the reigns of Jar Aerospace, and JAR Education, in 2025! Jack is a genius Aerospace engineer, a designer of engines, and a business mind 20/30 years his senior. At 18, he drew on two pieces of paper, a more efficient way to inject rocket fuel into rocket, and sold that IP (literally the pieces of paper) - to a NZ aerospace company - for a number that would make anybody blush, at any age. When he started in my Sydney building in our management training program, it became clear in our first conversation on Sydney harbour, that Jack was special. He had an idea, he asked me, I invested in 2017 and then went further in 2018. Taking on many varied roles over the next 3 years. The following 10 years have seen him develop a reputation, and network, that is astounding for his still very young age. I've become very close to Jack's whole family, and I am very happy to announce on this platform that I am once again, mentoring Jack in a now very established and exciting business. Jack Cullen is a man with many plans and skills that astound me every time he takes on a new challenge. Jack taking back the reigns of Jar Aerospace this year, continuing to develop the IP he was instrumental in creating (and Jack's critical role - in securing several long term Defence Force contracts in Australia - both Army, and Air Force), it makes me smile as I write this. With all 7000 of Australia's Air Force Cadets, now though the first 3 years of the program developed by JAR Education. It is time to see which other countries, believe that educating their youth, in the intricacies of designing, coding, building and ultimately flying UAV's - is a good investment in the security of their countries borders (not to mention the 1000's of new companies that will be created in the commercial space, from these young men and women, interested in a future in aviation). Again, one to watch over the next 5 - 10 years.
