Strategic oversight for the elected Office of the Assessor’s Information Technology Branch (ITB), with (3) teams, $20M+ budget & 150 staff, with the responsibility of systems for appraisal and valuing of over $2.1T of property within the County, resulting in $25B+ of annual tax revenue. IT Division: Ensures the 24x7 High Availability of servers, databases, websites, application development, Help Desk, hardware, AS400 operations, Main Frame job support, and occasionally VoIP services. PCI compliance requirements for our recently redesigned and recognized Property Tax Portal website. Business Solutions Group / Project Management Office (BSG / PMO): A $110M 5-phase Oracle software & hardware redevelopment program for the Assessor's Modernization Program (AMP), the #1 strategic initiative of the Office, and once complete - likely the de facto assessment software for California. GIS – The Largest County Geospatial Information System (Mapping) team in California.
Responsible for five teams supporting Networks, Servers, Security, Help Desk, Hardware, and AS400. Used SWOT survey to create the "Projects 40” list, with 25% of projects completed in <1 year, including: multiple enterprise deployments (IE10, Office 365, Hard Drive Encryption & Cisco VoIP phones).

Contractor IT manager responsible for staff & matrixed teams technology teams across the world. Activities are to improve operations and conduct problem management at IBM's largest clients. Part of the wind-down team for 7year Disney Global contract. In this role, I was typically pulled into technically troubled or otherwise challenging account situations. I would quickly learn the problem(s) faced by the customer or IBM delivery teams, and I would work with all relevant stakeholders to identify solutions, and implement the best business process or cyber / information technology solutions to resolve said issues. Technology supported included servers (Intel, AS400, Unix HP & AIX), IBM Main Frame, Middleware, & DB (Oracle, SQL, Sybase, IDMS), including Disney Studios, ABC-TV and Disney Stores Global.
Founded and operated this private IT consulting and integration firm serving Southern California. Acted as advisory CIO for several multi-million-dollar local firms and oversaw team implemented LAN, servers, VoIP, firewalls, IP CCTV, DR / BCP, workstations for law enforcement, medical, K-12 and Higher Educational campuses and districts, and retail establishments.
Dual reporting to the Studio CIO and Disney Enterprise IT Director. Responsible for North American Cisco VoIP and HP Multi-Function Printer (MFP) deployment to 5,000 users. Oversaw 3rd party vendors (IBM, HP, Xerox, Canon & ACS support), as I planned roll-outs with Disney C-level LOB executives, ensuring their deployments met or exceed their expectations and did not impede any major studio releases or operations. Identified telco cost savings, resulting in a $200K annual cost savings to Disney.
