    •Engaged to develop the business on rapid expansion plans, to double the profitability in 3 years •Responsible for overall business of day to day activities of operations, sales & marketing, OH&S, People & Culture, business development and solutions design, with full P&L responsibility of circa $100m turnover, showing $18.9m EBIT •Developed 3 year strategy and gain group board support and sign off to this plan •Took in additional responsibility for Group IT and associated budget as CIO for the Group. Having developed a 3 – 5 year IT strategy for the whole group •Had 11 direct reports who in turn had 850 personnel reporting through them. •Developed and deployed the marketing program for the Costa Logistics business and engaged this through speeches and interviews with industry press and national press to raise awareness of the business. •Drove the acquisition strategy for the logistics business and set the pace •Developed with sales and business development strategy for the logistics business with the GM Business Development and secured a sales pipeline of circa $25m from zero in 4 months, with a sales conversion rate of 23.4% and a sales cycle time of 45 days to contract •Delivered through the management of the implementation team a full WMS (Manhattan) system upgrade to include the deployment of billing module and also the SCI analytics module (first in southern hemisphere) •Delivered a record profit year in 2008/2009 financial year of $18.2m EBIT, with the business on track to deliver another record profit year of $18.5m EBIT. •New business won and existing is delivering circa 21% EBIT (Net) •Sat on group synergies board, took responsibility for 5 x sectors of savings to be delivered across the group. Final result for FY10 equated to $8.3m savings starting from zero •Developed and enhanced OH&S, People First and Safety programs in logistics division
