About

My pursuit of excellence in leadership development is defined by my tenure as the Leadership Development Program Regional Executive. My role extends beyond classroom instruction and focuses on faculty development and the student experience. It involves the strategic-thinker and the shaping of organizational leaders through a continuum of rigorous programs grounded in ethical leadership and professional development. The programs I am responsible for are accredited by the American Council on Education in the upper-division of undergraduate college credits, reflecting our commitment to quality and the exceptional development opportunities we offer to mid-level leaders. I apply my extensive experience of current and past roles over a 35-year period in the Marine Corps and as a retired veteran of 11 years, directly influencing over 650 Marine leaders and Adjunct Faculty each academic year. Our team's dedication is focused on the meticulous management of individual seminar groups, faculty development, and comprehensive student evaluations. With a focus on the Socratic Method, guided discussions, and practical applications, we ensure our students develop as strategic thinkers, who are adaptable and ethically grounded in critical thought. We execute our curriculum in three formats (in-person, virtual, and online) in each of our three annual semesters. I am responsible for the recruitment, screening, certification, hiring, development, coaching, and assessment of the Adjunct Faculty. I also manage and supervise student assessments, working closely with struggling students. My role incorporates student enrollment, student success, coaching, observation, and assessment. Our curriculum is maintained electronically in a learning management system (Moodle). I have expertly managed and executed all of the above since 2014, having been nominated and selected for teaching excellence throughout my tenure. I am very proud of being selected to start these programs from the ground up, into what they have become today, which are effective leadership development programs taught by professionally developed faculty in seven global regions for thousands of mid-level leaders each year.
