Driven by a passion for travel and efficiency, I founded bookachoo with the mission to replace one million flights with train tickets over the next decade. By seamlessly combining air and rail tickets, we aim to revolutionise the way businesses approach travel. bookachoo focusses on B2B solutions that prioritise efficiency and cut emissions. With an education in econometrics and extensive experience as a finance expert for international NGOs, I leverage analytical thinking to create impactful strategies that align with my vision and that consider context. As a sucker for neat beauty and efficiency, I love public transport, particularly metros and high-speed trains. I believe in the power of good design—from typefaces to metro diagrams—to enhance user experience. Other passions of mine include architecture, languages and their evolution, and of course music. In my case that is mostly Americana, particularly the evocative lyrics of Rowwen Hèze. I am inspired by others: from the focus Max Verstappen has to the clear vision and independence of Howard Roark.

We combine the offers from worldwide airlines and Europe’s railway companies. Because I believe that we can travel much more clever with the already existing infrastructure.

As they follow historical patterns of a city they tell the story of a place. I see beauty in both the depiction of complex networks and in the city tales. And thus I make artworks of them.
