As captain of internships I represented the medical interns in the hospitals around Leuven (UZ Leuven, Heilig Hart Leuven, AZ Diest and Heilig Hart Tienen) keeping close contact with the faculty and hospitals, ensuring an optimal flow of the internships, mediating in the disputes between students and the hospital, organizing educational lectures and after-works and building towards better internships for future generations of medical students.
Medica is responsible for the organization of events for both educational and leisure purposes for biomedical and medicine students. A total of over 5000 students are represented by Medica in the decision-making bodies of the faculty and university. Specific activities: - Financially I had the responsibility of overseeing the financial health and the legal fraction of the organisation. - Student representation: Participate in the decision-making bodies of both the faculties and university. - Board of director member.
