Responsible for the corporation's legal and regulatory functions, including litigation management, licensing, transactions, and corporate governance.
Facilitate the delivery of legal and regulatory services to diverse group of businesses offering health, well-being and related products, including care delivery, delivery system management (physician practice management), managed behavioral health, physical medicine, complex care services and networks, health care decision support, disease management, hospice services and banking and financial services, in the B2B and B2C markets. Advise and support senior management on legal and regulatory issues, including health reform, insurance regulation, transactions, data privacy, risk transfer, intellectual property, litigation avoidance and management, complex contract negotiations, marketing, product development and public policy. Represent company before government officials. Management and administrative experience spans legal, compliance and contracting functions.
Counsel. Represented and advised corporation and its subsidiaries on legal issues impacting managed care operations, including antitrust, ERISA, utilization review, provider credentialing and contracting, product development, general regulatory matters and customer contracting. Managed litigation.
