Configure and maintain MC/ServiceGuard Clusters and VERITAS Cluster Services. Develop and maintain disaster recovery backups and procedures using HP Ignite-UX, AIX mksysb/NIM, and Linux kickstart profiles. Participate in proof of concept projects to review and evaluate new technology for added value and functionality with company business plan. Successfully lead project to assume system support of 19 AIX servers acquired through acquisition of a Canadian Company and then coordinate the relocation of equipment to the United States. Primarily responsible for ensuring Mid-Systems availability and data integrity. Provide 7x24 first level support of All Mid-Systems (Hardware and Software). Install and configure hardware and software on Mid-Systems to assist in processing and system monitoring. Design and implement training procedures for operators and users. Operations liaison in new application development and Client/Server projects with business partners.
