About

I am an experienced elementary physical education teacher with over 15 years of service in Pasadena ISD and Clear Creek ISD, dedicated to creating engaging, high-impact learning environments for students and supporting fellow educators in their growth. Since 2024, I have served as a national facilitator with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, leading professional development trainings that have impacted hundreds of teachers across the country. I am passionate about scaling programs that promote physical activity, confidence, and lifelong wellness for students. Throughout my career, I have contributed to curriculum development and delivered presentations to physical education teachers at the district, state, and national levels. I have also taken on multiple leadership roles, including serving within TAHPERD, leading PE technology initiatives in my district, mentoring educators on my campus, and currently serving as the team lead at Armand Bayou Elementary in Clear Creek ISD. One of my proudest accomplishments is earning a $10,000 grant to enhance and expand my physical education program, creating more opportunities for students to stay active and engaged. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy traveling with my family, coaching my son’s soccer team, supporting my daughter at her dance recitals, and cheering on my hometown team, the Houston Dynamo FC.
