Tim Mason is the former CEO for Eagle Mountain Mining which follows his previous roles including General Manager Projects & Innovation and General Manager Operations for Panoramic Resources. Tim is an energetic person with a broad range of management, commercial, business development and engineering experience. Tim's qualifications include Bachelor of Engineering (Hons), Masters of Business Administration, and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Since commencing at Lanfranchi, Tim has driven a program of improving efficiencies and cost reduction across the operation. The program focused on 'doing more with less' by: • Engaging and empowering staff in decision making processes. • Setting clear roles and accountabilities aligned to the business value drivers. • Identifying key value drivers in the business. • Optimising life of mine plans to maximise value. • Improved planning processes including optimising communication methods and setting clear accountabilities. • Optimising equipment fleet to lower total operating costs. Through improved planning and focusing on cultural engagement, Lanfranchi has achieved four consecutive quarters of record Nickel production and record low cash costs, since Panoramic commenced operations in 2004.
Undertaking due diligence of various mining project opportunities and reporting recommendations to the board. Assisting in evaluation and acquisition of 4 major mining projects (gold and PGM's) over 2 years, including the takeover of the dual listed Magma metals. Assisting in various corporate activities including company announcements and reports. Financial Modelling of Panoramic's assets including impairment testing. Presenting at various mining events to analysts and stakeholders Assisting in strategic planning for the business.
