Helped identify the opportunity and actively recruited the MD into the role. Did strategic planning and the budget and business plan. GBA now distributes Peter Werth menswear into more than 20 Myer stores and key independants. It also produces mens accessories for a number of other brands and house brands. I have continued to act as a mentor and sounding board as the business has developed as well as being actively involved in budgetting and planning.
After the reverse takeover of Allans Music by AMG, I oversaw the integration of the two businesses and the subsequent performance improvement program. AMG had significant pre existing debt following an aggressively structured, private equity sponsored leveraged buy out. Liased with stakeholders in difficult economic conditions to resturture arrangements whilst the integration and performance enhancements programs took place. Ultimately sold our interest in the business.
