I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators with more than 29 years’ experience in the construction industry. I help subcontractors, contractors, employers and other project stakeholders manage commercial risk, avoid disputes (where possible), and resolve disputes effectively when they arise. My work including includes quantum expert work, claim preparation and defence, commercial support, contractual advice and representing parties in adjudication. Having worked across education, healthcare, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, rail and residential sectors – for employers, contractors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers – I understand both the contractual framework and the commercial realities of project delivery. My approach is commercially minded, strategic and focused on results. I help clients protect their position, recover monies properly due, and avoid unnecessary cost, delay and escalation. Where others may push matters too quickly down an expensive legal route, I offer a more pragmatic perspective – combining contractual knowledge, quantity surveying expertise and experience with contentious matters to deliver the right support at the right time. If your business needs support with claims, payments, contractual issues, dispute strategy, adjudication or a quantum expert, please feel free to get in touch.
