Lead the Europe & IMEA Fabric Care Liquids Engineering (Central & Plant) organization responsible for initiative, capacity and capability projects in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
Lead an organization of 60 P&G engineers (including 20 managers) and approximately 150 contractors that is responsible for Project + Construction Management, Health, Safety & Environment, Site Facilities & Utilities, Power, Control & Information Systems and Capital Management. Interim Plant Manager between May and October 2016 on top of the Site Engineering Leader role. Reponsibilities: 1- Deliver initiative, capacity and site facility projects within the biggest P&G production site in EMEA (1,400 employees, 47 ha) with a CAPEX of $70-100 million/yr. 2- Develop a plant engineering organization that supports global development activities for the fastest growing product category within P&G. 3 -Establish the strategy and execution plan to rebuild the HS&E organization and improve safety results on the floor. 4- Forecast and manage the engineering budget and headcount to deliver a productivity glide path of 7.5% YoY. Delivered results: 1 - Led the successful execution of a >$ 100 million project that provides capability to produce multi compartment liquid detergent pods for the EMEA market. 2 - Reduced the facility + utility services maintenance cost for the plant by 20% through competitive bidding and productivity increase while step changing overall performance. 3 - Brought down the number of safety incidents by 25% through improving the safety culture on the floor. No construction related incidents for >1 year with over 600,000 safe construction hours recorded. 4 - Selected, hired and trained exceptional engineers that have been the biggest source of management talent for the site in the last 3 years 5 - Managed the site as Plant Manager for period of 5 months in which it delivered record high production volumes and 1,000,000 safe hours.
