My journey from hobbyist to systems process engineering has been driven by a passion for optimizing and translating concepts into fully functioning systems. Background: After completing my HTL degree in mechanical engineering (TGM, 2019) and my bachelor's degree in process engineering (TU Vienna, 2024), I am currently pursuing a master's degree in process engineering, focusing on: • Product separation (including drying, membranes, crystallization) • Thermal process engineering (design of column apparatus – rectification, absorption, extraction) • Systems engineering (process synthesis, analysis, evaluation, integration) What sets me apart: • Connected view of mechanics + chemistry + systems thinking • Practical experiences in laboratory experiments, CAD designs and Aspen Plus simulations • International: semester at UPV Valencia in Spain – new cultures, new ideas • Team spirit from project work to volleyball classes – I enjoy collaboration and clear communication Next step: I want to work in interdisciplinary teams to make processes more efficient and cleaner, for example in food or environmental technology. I am fascinated by anything that exchanges heat, separates materials, and saves/reuses resources in the process.
