- Lecture students as past of the Australian Chemistry Olympiad, teaching the most gifted high school chemistry students in university level analytical chemistry. - Write exams to select the top 24 students to participate, and the top 4 to represent Australia at the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) - Additional training of the 4 team members, as well as ongoing support for students before the selection exams and before the IChO - Prepare, supervise and demonstrate the labaratory components of the summer school - Added responsibility in 2016 as the Mentor and 2017 as the Head Mentor, including travelling overseas with the team, coordinating additional training, and ensuring that the international exams are clear, translated correctly and the students are awarded the marks they deserve - Mentor junior staff members

- Demonstrate and supervise first year chemistry students in their laboratories - Mark work and provide feedback
