I fell into the music industry a few years back trying to book shows for my wife. I knew nothing about concert booking or event planning and have developed a love for the entertainment/event industry. Iow sit on a few boards and help plan events (mainly the entertainment/talent booking) for a few events throughout the NW. I have helped book/produce nearly 1000 shows from local bar events to large festivals/parades ranging from non-profit all volunteers to a full profit events with paid workers (man what a difference). Management and on the job training has developed my skill set. I would love the opportunity to work with you and your event on a consulting basis and see where we can take some of the stress away from you so you can focus on your other fires. Specialties: Finding excellent talent within the venue budget and working with routed artists. Negotiations, booking, promotions, management.
Handle the booking for a few regional artists in the NW. Work directly with fair, festival and event buyers insuring a quality product at a fair price is provided for the show. Talent Buyer for a few festivals and events in the Portland area. I focus on integrity and quality product in performance. I do not work with unpolished jam bands.
Been with Columbia Timbers for past two years. In the past I have coached High school and college teams, team camps, individual training and academy director.
