As Head of the Group Digital Office, I oversee enterprise-wide initiatives spanning AI governance, information security, and hands-on enablement. We don’t just talk transformation—we deliver it with tangible solutions that unlock “what’s-in-it-for-me” moments across the business. My style is pragmatic and people-centric. Building a technology unit focused on Data Strategy, AI Productivity and Automation
Serving and advancing a 1200+ people digital organization by leading overarching capabilities and driving our digital strategy execution.
Helped to scale the organization to 330 people and started professionalizing the organization through bundling cross-divisional capabilities into the newly formed Group Data Office.
Supported our CDO in the creation and implementation of our group-wide data strategy. This included scaling our engaging model with the rest of the company through building a dedicated Program and Project Management team.
At Norders, we were running data analytics projects for large corporate customers. From data strategy to actual development of analytics solutions, we always aimed to look beyond 1st and 2nd order consequences (hence, the Nth order). Built a team of data and AI professionals that serviced the German Mittelstand in the field of Data & AI services. Our main offering was Data & AI strategy development as well as running data projects in the field of data analysis and data integration. One of our main customers was a leading food production company, who we supported in a holistic data integration and data analytics project along their whole product lifecycle. Exited Norders in 2022 in a customer base licensing-agreement, which enabled a friend to take the leap into entrepreneurship and start his own firm.
Facilitated by McKinsey & Company, six renowned companies jointly invite excellent digital talents to a venture building competition. At “Digital Shapers 2020”, young digital experts demonstrate their skills and win career coaching and prize money of 10,000 euros. "Digital Shapers" is an initiative of Bertelsmann, EVENTIM, Handelsblatt Media Group, McKinsey, TUI and ZEISS.
Worked closely together with the top management on crafting our go-to-market strategy, our target operating model as well as engaging in investor relations and communications. (Investor was KKR)
Back then, the company was called arago and was funded by leading PE firm KKR. In my role I was consulting German bluechip companies in developing their AI strategies and backing it with first real-life applications in the field of AI and automation.
