I've been Drafting since I was just 13 years old. It has remained a passion for over half of my life. Professionally I've created objects and processes that helped my team perform efficiently. I've created clearly communicated installation instructions and detailed drawings to customers and clients. When your customers are hospitals, fire departments, police stations, and other emergency facilities, the pressure can be high. I've learned to work in these high-pressure situations calmly and with accuracy. Drafting hasn't been my only passion, I design and build web pages, marketing materials, and write copy for web traffic. I like to think I put a slight spin on that old adage. Jack of all trades, master of some.
As part of an engineering team, I was responsible for creating and placing dynamic blocks in 3D space for use in clash detection. I drafted installation details for state approval for seismic restraint and vibration isolations products. I worked on the companies CAD standards and networked libraries to create an efficient and easy-to-use system for engineers and principals.
As a customer service representative, I was tasked with managing customer experience and turning around a bummer situation into something positive. Offering a level of service that kept the customer interested in our product, while solving their problems. I was later placed on a team that worked solely on 'game breaking' issues that kept customers from participating in our product at all. We managed customer relations for incredibly distraught customers while conversing with the Quality Assurance team to recreate and prevent future occurrences of these very serious issues.
