    I am part of the research team working on the clinical research platform »ICUCockpit«, supervised by Prof. Dr. med. Emanuela Keller. Our aim is to enhance the quality of critical care by providing patients and clinical staff with access to high-precision, data-driven predictions, utilizing state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technologies developed in an ethical and responsible manner. My responsibilities cover - technical development and regulatory compliance of the research data platform ICUCockpit - conduct research to leverage free-text information in clinical settings using state-of-the-art NLP technologies - safe integration and evaluation of predictive algorithms designed to detect and monitor patient status in critical care - grant funding for research projects focused on developing data-driven machine learning applications in intensive care units - establish national and international collaborations to evaluate the developed systems across multiple sites
