Till is Managing Director of Westworks and has a track record for delivering highly sustainable projects both on an individual building and masterplanning scale in a number of sectors, which focus on truly sustainable design principles. Till has an in-depth knowledge of Planning issues and the technical issues associated with achieving a low energy design, alongside the strategic issues that are imperative in achieving a holistically low carbon masterplan solution. Till’s projects have won a number of sustainability awards, and he has spoken at a variety of conferences including the British Council for Schools Environments Conference, the Wood in Construction Conference for The National forest Company (De-carbonising Construction), the Spring Green event at the Architecture Centre (Bristol) and the Annual Hotel Conference. Till is passionate about understanding how a Client aims to use their new scheme, which has a direct impact on the sustainability (in particular energy efficiency), and ensures activities such as Value Engineering or Planning Policy do not have an adverse impact on the performance and quality of the design.
