• Supporting the MEP's work as Greens/EFA coordinator for foreign affairs (AFET) • Assisting the MEP as a co-chair of the Greens/EFA international cluster • Providing input and research on foreign policy issues with a focus on China, ASEAN, the Western Balkans, the Eastern Neighbourhhood and the USA • Supporting work on reports and resolutions such as the rapporteurship for the report on Connectivity and EU-Asia relations
As an intern, I supported the Economic and Fiscal Policy Unit of UN Environment’s Resources and Markets Branch within the workstreams sustainable infrastructure and green industrial policies through: • developing policy advice, as in supporting the draft of a good practice guidance framework on sustainable infrastructure • organising a regional consultation on this framework in Central Asia and a workshop on inclusive infrastructure • providing research on green industrial policies and a just transition (green jobs) and supporting the development of an online course capacity building offer for policymakers and universities
• Reporting on and monitoring of the negotiations on a EU-NZ Free Trade Agreement • Political analyses on the Pacific states including the situation on Fiji and the Cook Islands' elections • Support of daily work, participation in events and meetings with the Ambassador and individually • Preparation of trade and investment statistics, political and economic analyses and reports
• Research to prepare the MEP's position as a shadow rapporteur to the report on EU-China relations • Supporting the MEP's work as a rapporteur on an ITRE opinion for a screening mechanism of foreign direct investment • Preparation of an event with the topic "Green Finance" and drafting of briefings and research related to a sustainable European financial system • Preparation of briefings and research in the areas of industrial policy, EU foreign policy, EU-China relations and transatlantic relations
