Project ALEXIS: Assistive Linguistic EXperience in Intelligence Simulation ALEXIS is a chatterbot designed to understand natural language queries and deliver solutions, without human interaction, to reduce the cost per help desk task. The bot is designed to complete word frequency analysis on a large, unstructured dataset, and is continuously trained as users interact with it. I worked in a small team to develop a working prototype of ALEXIS' core functionality, as well as a tool to allow help desk analysts to add knowledge to the bot, without any coding experience required. Additionally, I have worked to create a 3-year service strategy plan for ALEXIS to demonstrate its extensible business use and ensure the project's continuation after I leave. I also created several visualizations based on over 10,000 data points for each of 79,000 user computing endpoints, highlighting application and web usage differences between lines of business.
