I was recruited to work with Aqua Wellness after being a member. The Manager felt my expertise and knowledge would benefit the services offered to the clients. I am responsible for the smooth day to day running of the gym and spa. This includes every aspect you could list regarding responsibilities within a gym and spa. From gym reception responsibilities, including some administration, to Personal Training and monitoring of classes, I ensure all colleagues and current and new members, are exercising in a safe manner and achieving their goals regarding their fitness desires. As this is my first employed position within the fitness industry, it has allowed me to develop other skills that running my own business, didn´t give me the opportunity to do. I hope to find a similar position upon my return to the UK.
