I am looking for a RN position at a multi-disciplinary pain clinic. I am highly skilled in all clinical and procedural aspects of pain medicine and worked with some of the top pain physicians in the nation. I have experience with managing intrathecal pain pumps and neurostimulators. Currently, I am working in a fast paced pain clinic that manages and treats over 1000 pain patients.
• Assistant to Timothy Lubenow MD, Sandeep Amin MD, Asokumar Buvanendran MD, Matthew Jaycox MD, and Adam Young, MD • Manage and treat greater than 1000 pain patients via in office visits, phone calls, and supporting fellows and residents • Refill, manage, troubleshoot, and train fellows on intrathecal pumps • Responsible for procedure scheduling and prior authorizations for all pain related procedures including Neurostimulators and Intrathecal Pumps • Manage communication for all company representatives(Medtronic, Boston Scientific, St.Jude) about cases and patient appointments • Responsible for patient education of multiple pain therapies including procedural protocol, therapy benefits and risks • Oversee prescription refills and prior authorizations for medications • Liaison between doctor and workman’s comp case managers and lawyers, other physicians, patients and their families, fellows, residents, and company representatives • Created a dynamic spreadsheet that manages all pump patients refill date and battery
• Manage and treat patients for various ailments including refiling and managing pumps, wound vacs, patient education, diabetes management, and medication management
• Assistant to Samer Narouze MD, Syed Ali MD, J. Tim Sable MD, and Shorin Nemeth DO. • Responsible for admitting, assessing and recovering patients • Preparation of procedure rooms and sterile fields, drawing up medications, conscious sedation, monitoring VS, running RFA and US machines • Liaison between patient and doctors, charge nurse duties • Familiar with Joint Commission requirements.
