Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., geopolitical, natural disasters, supplier bankruptcy, quality issues, logostics). Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards. 5. Cost Optimization & Value Creation: Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining or improving quality and service. Identify opportunities for cost reduction. Focus on total cost of ownership (TCO) Contribute to the organization's financial health and profitability. 6. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team. Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback.
