Key resposibilities: Define and implement European Agro-chemical business strategy within the European Performance Material strategy Identify and establish long-term relationships with new suppliers, and push GAPs solving for the various legal entities of SCI Europe Guide and support the regional teams (Local Business Line Managers and Sales Managers) to implement local Business Development plans Coordinate and manage relationship with regional Key Clients: KPI setting, reporting, and business reviews Define the pricing strategy and policy for the regional products (market price, inter-company prices) Key customer management for 4 global Crop Protection companies (commercially & technically) Define and implement marketing and sales strategies for the Agro industry and/or clients Coordinate and develop marketing material for selected Luna products (own brands) Maintain a complete and updated info-package for the products, projects and clients Conduct market surveys in alignment with the business line strategy Identify and coordinate new opportunities for the business line Offer technical support to Sales Managers together with our clients Market intelligence: mapping of competitions provide technical support to customers, especially on co-formulants for pesticides (chemical and biological) coordinate and manage European stocks of co-formulants
Leading and developing the Specialty Chemicals business line within DKSH Performance Materials across Switzerland and Austri. Key Responsibilities: Leading overrall operations of the local Business Line towards the successful accomplishment of agreed objectives, whilst assuming full accountability for local Business Line profit and loss (P&L) Coordinating and assuming functional responsibility for the Sales Managers and Sales Support Specialists within the local Specialty Chemicals Industry (SCI) team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance across the commercial function Responsibility for change management processes, guiding the local team through organisational and strategic transitions Defining and implementing the local Business Line strategy, ensuring coherence with broader regional and global objectives Developing new business opportunities with both clients and customers to increase market coverage, strengthen competitive positioning, and address gaps within the local product portfolio Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with key local clients and customers, acting as a trusted partner and ensuring long-term commercial success across the territory Defining and executing the local marketing strategy, ensuring that product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market activities are aligned with business line objectives and customer needs across Switzerland and Austria Ensuring full compliance with local market regulations, including Swiss Chemical Ordinance (ChemO), REACH, and other applicable regulatory frameworks, safeguarding both the business and its customers Representing DKSH Performance Materials Switzerland in relevant industry associations, contributing to sector dialogue, enhancing the company's profile, and staying abreast of market developments and regulatory changes Serving as Deputy to the Local Business Unit Manager
Coordinating and growing our European activities with co-formulants and active ingredients for plant protection and pest control products business across different countries together with local Sales Managers. Key responsibilities: Responsible for European distribution of Ingevity (former MeadWestvaco) kraft lignin and lignin derivatives to the plant protection, lead acid battery and textile dye industries Key customer management for 4 global Crop Protection companies Leading locally based Sales Managers in various European countries - commercially and technically - indirect reports defining European pricing strategy provide technical support to customers, especially on co-formulants for pesticides (chemical and biological) coordinate and manage European stocks of co-formulants Managing our activities in the fermenation industry (microbial, cell culture, etc.) - media components and down stream purification - in Switzerland and Austria until October 2022
