Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area
I have proven expertise at gallery management, having been working at NoguerasBlanchard in Madrid, Spain for the past 5 years, leading several projects, exhibitions and fairs worldwide as well as the day-to-day related activities, including PR and overall communications. In this and my previous role (as Director of a Magazine), I have had the opportunity to coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including the supervision up to five reportees. Additionally, I have a Ph. D. in Art History graduating from the Complutense University in Madrid focused on the work of the french conceptual artist Philippe Thomas (readymades belong to everyone) and have developed several collateral curatorial projects on contemporary art in different fields (Biennial, Museum, Commercial Gallery, Artist-Run Space, etc.) and countries (France, Morocco, The Netherlands, Spain, Brazil, etc.) where I could write extensively. I speak fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese and I am skilled on different computer and art softwares.
